Fleeing Suspect Busted With PCP, Crack-Cocaine, Stolen Handgun After Maryland Crash: Police

A fleeing suspect was captured by police in Davidsonville with a stolen handgun and large amount of drugs, authorities say.

Further investigation revealed that the driver was under the influence and in possession of approximately 668g of suspected Phencyclidine (PCP), 15g of suspected crack-cocaine, and a black/purple semi-automatic handgun that was reported stolen.

Travis Moore, 40, was arrested after fleeing the scene following a vehicle crash in the area of Central Avenue and Patuxent River Road around 11 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 10, according to Baltimore police.

Moore was allegedly the driver of one of the involved vehicles, and fled on foot as officers approached him, prompting a chase, police said. 

Investigation revealed that Moore was under the influence at the time of the crash, and was carrying a stolen Virginia handgun and a large amount of suspected drugs including 668g of PCP and15g of crack cocaine.

Moore was reportedly charged accordingly.
